Cypress trees, Point Lobos. Silver print, the image measuring 7 3/8x9 3/8 inches (18.7x23.8 cm.), the mount 14 1/2x16 1/4 inches (36.8x41.3 cm.), with Weston's negative notation and date in pencil and the original owner's name also in pencil, on mount verso; in an original period frame. 1930

  • Notes: Original framing notes on the back of the mount from Oliver's Fame Shop, Monterey, California show the early owner as Mrs. Peggy Chandler. Flora Chandler and Edward Weston were married early July 1907 and had four children. This work is by descent to the Present Owner.
