Silver print, the image measuring 9½x7½ inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), the mount 16x13¾ inches (40.6x34.9 cm.), with Weston's initials and negative date in pencil on mount recto, and the Portfolio Print stamp with the print number "2" in pencil on mount verso.

  • Condition: Edward Weston's ""Willie," St. Roch Cemetery, New Orleans, from Edward Weston: Fiftieth Anniversary Portfolio, 1902-1952" is a beautiful print with sharp textural detail, rich contrast, and overall, in excellent condition.

    Under close inspection in raking light, it is possible to see a narrow band of silvering along the extreme edges of the print. Otherwise, the surface of the print is flawless.

    The mount is clean, just slightly age-darkened on its extreme edges, with Weston's initials and negative date in pencil on mount recto, and the Portfolio Print stamp with the print number "2" in pencil on mount verso.
