"'Nikki's not staying,' Dodo explained. 'I just can't get him to worry about the Maloney Trust. He thinks money's stupid.'" Mixed media, featuring ink and gouache on paper, with some tempera in larger study. Largest and most finished study at right is 344x268; 13 1/2x10 1/2 inches (sight), on 14 1/2x11 1/2-inch sheet. Medium-sized study at lower left is 245x193 mm; 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (sight), on 10 1/2x8 1/4-inch sheet. Small study at far left is 109x90 mm; 4 1/4x3 1/2 inches (sight), on 4 3/4x4-inch sheet. Small study at inner left is 100x90 mm; 4x3 1/2 inches (sight), on 5x4 3/4-inch sheet. All unsigned. Small study at inner left has two horizontal slices running width of sheet at the top; held together with cellotape on verso. Presented together in a custom matte to highlight larger study; framed. Accompanied by the tear sheet.
