Each with Porter's signature in pencil on mount recto and mount verso.
The images 13 1/2 x 10 5/8 in. (34.3 x 27 cm.), and slightly smaller, the mounts 23 x 17 in. (58.4 x 43.2 cm.)

    Eliot Porter; to the Collection of Leonard and Selma Zoref

    Trained as a photographer at R.I.T., Len Zoref (1924-2024) was a master color specialist renowned for his expertise in dye transfer and successive imaging technologies. He worked in tandem with fine art and commercial photographers as well as corporate clients during his 50-year tenure as president of K&L Color Services (later Berkey K&L) and then Zoref Color Labs. Selma Zoref (1926-2025) was a long-time educator at the Brooklyn Museum and the Great Books Foundation.

    The portfolio entitled Intimate Landscapes was published as an edition of 250 by New York: Daniel Wolf Press, 1979. Zoref and Porter worked together to produce the prints in this set.
