WITH RARE DUST JACKET ELIOT, T. S. The Waste Land. Thin 8vo, original black cloth lettered in gold on front cover and spine, the slightest bit of rubbing along rear joint; entirely uncut and unopened, a touch of binding glue along front pastedown caused a thin layer of paper to adhere to facing front free endpaper; extremely scarce dust jacket identical to that of the first edition, small thin pink mark on front panel between The and Land, a touch of rubbing at tips, otherwise fine. New York: Boni and Liveright, (1922) [i. e., 1923]
- Notes: a virtually untouched copy of the scarce second edition with rare dust jacket. Number 546 of 1000 copies, with the number printed 2-mm high and retaining misprint "mount in." While Gallup (A6b) does not mention the dust jacket, he does say that this second edition is really a second impression from the same setting of type as the first edition, but with the alteration in the colophon.
