Ellington, Edward "Duke." Cotton Club Program Signed by Duke Ellington.
Illustrated. 4to, original wrappers, slightly rubbed and with a short part at the spine; Signed by Ellington on the page picturing his ensemble. New York, circa 1938
- Notes: Duke Ellington and the Cotton Club are almost inseparable in the history of Jazz and New York's Harlem. Ellington first played at the club when it was located in Harlem in the 1920s. The club moved downtown in 1937 to better serve the white public for whom it was designed in the first place.
