Condition B+ / A-: repaired tear through top margin; restoration in upper right corner.
A strong graphic of a locomotive pulling out of a station on its overnight run to the Cote d'Azur. Schefer, who worked exclusively for automobile and train companies, was nicknamed "The Painter of Machines," and one of his other posters depicts the famed Bugatti train running between Paris and Vichy. Train 254, Azur 13, Wagons-Lits p. 146.
