- Notes: Descriptions of antique gems in the cabinets of Charles Townley, Lord Eliot, Prince Poniatowski, Prince Czartorinski, The Duke of Marlborough, George Garrick, Henry Jennings, Robert Helen, among others. Burch was the first and only gem engraver to be elected a Royal Academician, in 1771. He remained so until the election of his pupil, Nathaniel Marchant, in 1809. Not in Sinkankas.
