Lithograph on pale gray wove paper, 1938. 355x297 mm; 14x11 3/4 inches, full margins. A later printing. Signed, titled, and numbered 17/30 in pencil in the lower margin. Published by Robert Blackburn's Printmaking Workshop, New York, with the blind stamp lower right. A good, dark impression of this controversial WPA image.
This lithograph is his only surviving image from the WPA; an impression from 1938 is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, gift of Reba and Dave Williams.
