EUGÈNE DELACROIX Femme de Tanger Étendant du Linge.

EUGÈNE DELACROIX
Femme de Tanger Étendant du Linge.

Lithograph on cream wove paper, 1833. 190x240 mm; 7 1/2x9 1/2 inches, full margins. Ex-collection Alfred Beurdeley (Lugt 421, lower left recto); and Philippe Burty (Lugt 413, lower left recto). A very good impression of this extremely scarce, early print.

We have not found another impression at auction in the past 20 years.

According to Strauber, this is one of only 2 known impressions: one formerly owned by Moreau-Nélaton and this impression from the Beurdeley collection. Delteil 95.
