Circa 1900. 24x37 inches. Adolph Friedlander, Hamburg. Condition B+: overpainting and restoration in expertly replaced margins; horizontal fold; minor restoration in image. Promoting an early strong woman, colorful vignettes of rather outrageous acts of strong-woman prowess, the majority of which seem to revolve around her jaw muscles; including carrying two men on a large keg of beer in her teeth, having a rock held from her mouth pummelled with a sledge hammer and other show-stopping feats; lettering in red.
