Extraordinary autobiographical letter detailing her life since high school. 9 pages on 9 sheets. 14 October E8,000/10,000 A letter in which she assesses her life since high school graduation. An old friend from Venice Beach has called her and she reminisces that when she knew him she was 18 and generally high on reds or pot. She goes onto assess her life from her new happy vantage point, theorizing that she has gone into the world several times and each time failed. When she was 17 she went to Houston but drank and took pills. After business college she went to Los Angeles but associated with drug addicts. Next she went to Austin to be with folk singers but became analcoholic and slept with lots of people. Then she hitchhiked to San Francisco, did well singing for a while, but began drinking too much again. She then met Linda, exper-imented in homosexuality and became addicted to crystal meth. Concludes from all this that she must have hated herself, but is now okay. She concludes the letter with an apology for burdening him with her problems and questions why she keeps thinking about all this.
