Fall, depicted as "an auburn lady, making ready to partake of the ripe grapes" (Rennert/Weill p. 90). A dazzling Art Nouveau design imbued with rich harvest colors and classically stylized Mucha design elements. The success of this first set of the Four Seasons was so complete that Mucha went on to design two other series (in 1897 and 1900). Rennert/Weill 18.
