- Notes: from the estate of leo katz. Leo Katz was a printmaker associated with Atelier 17, a printmaking workshop established by Stanley Hayter. Katz was an inspired teacher and artist who associated with a number of important photographers and printmakers of the day. He wrote numerous articles on photography, taught classes in experimental photographic techniques, and was a close friend of Lotte Jacobi.
