Group of 5 photographs of Brazil including a lovely bird's-eye-view of Rio and the bay, another of the city's rooftops with Sugar Loaf in the background, its docks and Botanic Garden, and a walkway overlooking a valley in Corcovado. Albumen prints, 6 1/4x8 1/2 inches (15.9x21.6 cm.), with Ferrez's credit and caption in the negative on 4, one with a blind stamp, the last with a numeric notation in the negative and a hand written caption, in pencil, on verso. 1870s
