- Notes: first edition of the first use of photographs to illustrate engraved gems. one of only seventy-five sets were printed, according to King, Antique Gems and Rings. A handsome work carefully illustrating the notorious collection of Poniatowski which was later discovered to contain numerous forgeries commissioned by him. Sinkankas 5261-62.
