Dhuij with his ticket on front pastedown; lacking the map, finger soiling, moderate foxing and dampstaining, early repairs to many leaves, many of the illustrated leaves.

First German edition of Volume II of De Bry's Great Voyages, consisting of René Laudonniére's  1586 Florida narrative "L'histoire Notable de la Floride." Features the same engraved title pages as De Bry's Brevis Narratio Eurum Quae in Florida (Church 145), with new letterpress title slips pasted over the old, as issued.
