- Notes: Red was the color code for the Commander's (Charles Conrad in this case) personal equipment. Skylab had the U.S.'s first space "shower," thus a need for towels for drying off. With a Typed Letter Signed from Paul Weitz which includes: "These towel really weren't worth a damn because they would not readily absorb water. The best we could hope for was to use them like a squeegee to push to water off our bodies."
