FLOWN Gemini XI Medallion. An approximately 1-inch triangular gold-plated sterling silver medallion carried on the Gemini XI flight by Mission Commander Charles Conrad. The medallion illustrates the mission number "XI," a Gemini spacecraft docked with the Agena target vehicle and a space walking astronaut, all above the Earth. With a Typed Card Signed by Conrad certifying the medallion was flown and describing the mission. NASA, 1966

  • Notes: The flown gold-plated Gemini medallions are the rarest of all. The Gemini XI mission dates of "Sept. 12-15, 1966" are engraved on the reverse.
