FLOWN Music Tape
FLOWN Music Tape. A standard 4x2.5 inch cassette tape for use by Paul Weitz on Skylab. Scotch brand magnetic tape, 60 minutes in length, still playable. Scotch, 1973
- Notes: Part of Astronaut Weitz''s personal crew equipment launched aboard the SL-2 Saturn IB. Side one of the tape is inscribed: "SKYLAB PW, Cassette 2 CMP, Sons of the Pioneers, Johnny Cash." Side 2 inscribed: "Skylab PW Cassette 2 CMP, Johnny Cash, Ann Murray." Additionally, side 1 has been inscribed and signed: "Flown on Skylab I, Paul Weitz, PLT" and side 2: "From my personal collection." This is the last flown Skylab tape from the Weitz collection.
