  • Notes: Each volume with a fore-edge painting. Volume 1 shows a portrait of Fry next to a view of her childhood home Earlham Hall; Volume 2 has a scene of Fry visiting the women at Newgate prison where she devoted many years of charity work to improve their condition, titled "An Hour in Newgate."
