Condition A-: minor repaired tears and abrasions in margins; unobtrusive vertical and horizontal folds; unobtrusive bleach spots in border.

An Italian artist, who trained in Rome, Tamagno was most prolific during his long career in Paris, working with printer Victor Camis. He produced over 100 poster commissions in the last decade of the 19th century, before switching to the Gallice printing press in 1905.
