  • Notes: Frank Stick was a prolific illustrator and painter, best known for his depictions of outdoor life, wildlife, and rugged adventure. In the early 20th century, Stick established himself as a prominent commercial artist, contributing illustrations to magazines such as Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, and The Saturday Evening Post. Among his most recognizable contributions were the illustrations he created for advertising and calendar art that featured dramatic scenes of wilderness, hunting, and fishing.
