- Notes: Pennypacker, the Governor of Pennsylvania, amassed one of the most significant libraries devoted to Pennsylvania history, including an extraordinary collection of Franklin imprints. The collection was offered at auction at Henkels in 8 parts over the course of 15 years. These first two parts, however, contain his collection of Frankliniana, books from George Washington's library, Confederate imprints and other Americana.
