Condition A: pin holes in top corners. Mounted to board. Mat glued to poster in corners. Matted and framed.
Von Stück's head of the Greek Goddess Athena became the emblem of the Munich Secession in 1893, when he officially co-founded the movement and used it on a poster advertising the group's first international exhibition. Von Stück reused the goddess's head, framed in an octagon, for many posters advertising Secession exhibitions. Kunst 472 (var).
