Fred Haise's Apollo 15 Badge. A 2.5x4 inch laminated badge issued to Fred Haise for access to Mission Control Center Viewing Room at MSC, Houston, Texas. The badge reads: "Fred W. Haise, Jr" and has a large "15" printed in the mission block area. With a Typed Letter Signed by Fred Haise which allows the badge to be displayed with the letter. NASA/MSC, 1971
- Notes: The letter reads in part: "I was training as back-up commander for the next lunar landing mission, Apollo 16, and it was important to be present near Mission Control to observe the activities of this first extended (3 day stay) lunar landing mission. Apollo 16 would have similar operational activities and observing the '15' mission as it happened was a valuable experience in my crew training."
