Genl Murray two days Since was within 8 or 10 Leagues of Montreal, the French were on both Sides the River to prevent his Landing, which we everyday expect to hear he has made good and that he is Joyn'd by Genl Amhurst. Goods sell very slow, but if Montreal falls they certainly will sell to advantage . . ."
