  • Notes: Includes: Menu for dinner held on the ship upon her arrival in New York on her maiden voyage (30 June 1927) * First Class deck plan (March 1934) * Second Cabin deck plan. Circa 1934 * Volume 11, Number 3 of La Renaissance de l'Art (March 1928), in a modern cloth binding with original wrappers bound in * Special issue of Journal de la Marine Marchande, entirely devoted to the ship, in a modern cloth binding with original wrappers bound in * and more.
    The quadruple-screw ship was exceptionally popular with travellers. She served for years before World War II and returned to service after the war upon the completion of reconditioning (one of her three funnels was removed). She was sold to Japanese scrappers in 1958.
