- Notes: This newspaper extra or broadside contains extracts from London papers on the July 1830 Revolution in France that overthrew Charles X, and is presumably one of the earliest American reports of the overthrow of the Bourbons. The Revolution of 1830 was made famous by Victor Hugo's publication (and Broadway opening) of Les Miserables.
