My very best wishes to you and Mr. Filsinger and may we sometime meet again as pleasantly as when you and Vachel [Lindsay] and all of us were going to write a poem a piece on John L. Sullivan." Sara Teasdale Filsinger (1884-1933) American poet, married Ernst Filsinger in 1914 and divorced in 1929, courted by fellow poet Vachel Lindsay. Lindsay and Teasdale committed suicidein 1931 and 1933 respectively.
