Located close to Tokyo, the Fuji Hakone National Park is is a popular tourist destination because of its temperate climate and stunning views of Mt. Fuji. The Park was designated on February 1, 1936, so the opening of this hotel followed soon thereafter. Here the lake, bustling with summer sportsmen, and the hotel are visible at the base of the majestic, pastel-colored mountain.
