Folio, 359x240 mm, contemporary 1/2 blind-tooled pigskin over liturgical manuscript vellum dyed green, shelf number stamped in black on spines, Volume 1 spine chipped at top, front joint partly cracked, Volume 2 front cover detached; attractive set internally, with only scattered early underscoring and marginalia, light marginal dampstaining on last few leaves in Volume 2, occasional toning in Volume 3 and minor dampstaining along top and fore edges of index, most free endpapers lacking; cloth folding cases. Signatures of Jonas Pesserl of Iglau, Moravia, dated Wittenberg 1602; bookplates of the John Crerar and University of Chicago Libraries with release stamps, Crerar Library perforated stamp on titles and some text leaves.
