Engraved map of Europe with a path connecting 103 cities, leaving Dover and returning to London, with instruction and explanation panels pasted at left and right. 20¼x26 inches overall, segmented and mounted on original linen backing; original hand-color; publisher's marbled paper slipcase; moderate wear. 1768.

    John Wallis. Wallis's Tour of Europe: A New Geographical Pastime. Engraved map of Europe marking a track of 102 cities departing the port of Harwich and winning upon reaching London. 19½x20½ inches overall, segmented and mounted on original linen backing; original hand-color; publisher's card slipcase with engraved pictorial title-slip pasted on; 24-page instruction booklet in original plain wraps; case damages with an early attempt at repair, other components moderately worn. 1811.

Engraving with fine original hand-color mapping out a path to 26 panels of wonders including Stonehenge, the Roman Coliseum, Egyptian Pyramids and Sphynx, as well as modern attractions such as a diving bell, a steamboat, and William Herschel's 40-foot reflecting telescope. 18¼x24¾ inches overall, segmented and mounted on original linen backing; publisher's card slipcase with engraved pictorial title-slip pasted on; moderate wear; without instructions. Circa 1820.

Engraved goose game board comprised of 45 vignettes of animals, birds, insects, and reptiles. 19x15 inches overall, mounted on silk backing and folding into publisher's card covers; original hand-color; front cover detached, separations at fold lines, upper corner lost. [1813, but circa 1850].
