- Notes: first edition. A group of uncharacteristically religious poems written in October 1927 during Garvey's incarceration in Atlanta. These "selections" were sent by Garvey to Amy Jacques in New York who was trying to manage his disintegrating organization following his conviction on mail fraud charges in 1925. A genuinely scarce Garvey piece. OCLC locating 4 copies.
