Large engraved plat of legislatively-divided lands in northwest Georgia comprising the area of present-day Floyd and Polk Counties with short stretches of the Coosa, Etowah, and Tallapoosa Rivers serving as the main geographical landmarks. 22x29¼ inches sheet size, ample margins; originally folding but now mounted flat to acidic board with concomitant toning and staining, small losses at a few fold intersections, occasional graphite annotations.  Extremely rare, only one example of Green's similarly designed "First Section" found at auction, Sotheby's, 2002.
