Gordon Cooper's McDonnell Spacecraft Poster. Color poster issued by McDonnell after the last Gemini flight. Shows 7 columns listing mission date and spacecraft, flight crew names, illustrations of spacecraft, a short flight summary with highest altitude, flight time, distance traveled/orbits, and the country represented by a U.S. or U.S.S.R. flag. Issued with dual column folds, and folded again for file storage. With corner pin holes. McDonnell, 1966

  • Notes: With a Typed Letter Signed by Cooper which reads in part: "The spacecraft and flag columns brilliantly illustrate the commanding U.S. lead established after the first manned Gemini flight. We were 10 and 0 versus the Russians. They did not fly a single manned flight while we flew Gemini 3 to 12." The poster is signed by Cooper next to his name at the "Faith 7" and again at the Gemini 5 area. Also signed twice by Stafford next to his name at the Gemini 6 and 9 areas.
