Linoleum cut, 1931-46. 305x230 mm; 12x9 1/8 inches, full margins. Artist's proof, printed later by the artist at the Printmaking Workshop, New York. Signed, titled and inscribed "A/P' in pencil, lower margin. A very good, dark impression.
Provenance: from the artist's estate, New York; hence by descent to a private collection, New York. Woodruff would print later impressions on occasion at Bob Blackburn's Printmaking Workshop, which would later reprint the posthumous edition.
