Letter Signed, twice ("Alex Hamilton / Sect'y of the Treasury" and "AHamilton" on address panel), to Customs Collector Jeremiah Olney, requesting that he pay the invalid pension coming due, and stating that he may expect a draft on [Major General and Collector at Boston] Benjamin Lincoln. 1 page, 4to, with integral address leaf; closed tears at left edge and in address leaf from seal, remnants of prior mounting along right edge of address leaf, even toning, folds.   • Notes: "Another half years pension will become due to the invalids on the fifth day of June next, which you will please to pay . . . .
    ". . . I have issued a warrant on the Treasurer of the United States in your favor for 1454 dollars for the payment of which the said Treasurer will forward to you a draft on Benj''n Lincoln esquire of Boston."
