Partly-printed Document Signed, as Governor of Massachusetts, ordering payment from Treasurer Alexander Hodgdon to William Goodenow of "One pound fifteen Shillings & nine pence in full for . . . Hemp raised, dressed & certified agreeable to law . . . ." Countersigned by John Avery. Approximately 9x7 1/4 inches; short separations at folds, faint marginal discoloration from prior matting touching paraph of signature, docketing verso. With a brief letter attached at top left from Goodenow to Hodgdon requesting that payment be made to John Flagg. Boston, 30 January 1792
