(The MIT Press), (1979)

Provenance: The Estate of Richard T. Rosenthal, Philadelphia

  • Condition: The special edition presentation of Edgerton's iconic "Milk Drop Coronet" is in excellent condition.

The print is lustrous and bright, with a clean surface and no visible flaws. The red tonality is rich and lush. The highlight whites have shifted just slightly, as is typical to chromogenic prints from this period. But, this is not distracting nor does it present as unusual. The print is enclosed in the orignal black mat.

The book is also excellent. The boards and dust jacket are crisp and neat, and appear essentially unhandled. Internally the volume is also very bright, clean, and neat. The pages evidences occasional very soft handling marks, but this is minor.
The lucite box is also bright and clean.
