Pen and ink drawing for the Sunday comic strip, New York Tribune, April 17, 1921. 655x501mm; 26x20 inches. Signed in full lower right. The title "Peter Rabbit" printed on newsprint and affixed to the drawing. Overall discoloring, unobtrusive waterstain on lower left hand corner, which is chipped.

  • Notes: This popular Sunday comic strip was based on Thornton W. Burgess' character rather than on the better known Beatrix Potter one. The Peter Rabbit comic strip as drawn by Cady ran from 1920 until his retirement in 1948.
