Partly-printed Document Signed, "Nath''l Hawthorne," as U.S. Consul, certifying that the crew of the bark Golden Era, having sailed from Bombay, has deserted its captain, Frederick Thorndike, who plans to sail to Alexandria, VA. 1 page, folio, pale blue paper; few scattered small holes, some tears at edges repaired inexpertly with paper verso.
