- Notes: with--Typed Letter Signed by Leicester to long time family friend Bill Horne, concerning a boat trip to Jamaica, his own successful biography of Hemingway, and mentioning (then mostly unknown) Hemingway scholar Carlos Baker: "This character [Baker] hasn''t written any more books about Hemingway than anybody else . . . and then has the gall to write me suggesting I turn over all my resource material to him so he can do a Good Job . . ." Horne was a Red Cross officer who met Ernest Hemingway in Italy during World War I.
