HERTZ Carl (Leib MORGENSTERN 1859-1924). Group of 6 pieces of ephemera, including a fine cabinet card photographic portrait, two Real Photo postcards, one program, an advertising piece, and a newspaper clipping. 1880s-1920s.
- Notes: Carl Hertz was one of the earliest magicians to incorporate short films in his program, soon after the introduction of cinema. He is credited with giving the first film screenings in South Africa (09 May 1896) and Australia (22 August 1896).
