Both apractical family car and a st urdy work vehicle, the "Double Duty" ofthis car is illustrated by the happy family day-tripping in their blue Hill man and by the mil kman who is lading containers into his brown Hillman; lettering in red. Act ual ly a forerunner of the modern hatchback, the Hillman Husky, as described by The Motor magazine from February 26, 1958, was "either a comfortable four- seater, or when the occasion requires, a van to carry a bulky load".
