Octavo, an assemblage of plates from Hollar, each trimmed and mounted to a larger sheet, including the engraved title page with Stent imprint and twenty-six full-length portraits of women in various styles of dress; assumed mixed states; bound in later leather boards, both detached, each trimmed image usually cut outside the plate mark, approximately 3 x 5 in. each, the book itself 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 in.
