Autograph Letter Signed, to painter Joseph DeCamp ("Dear Mr. de Camp"), explaining that he has no work to send to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and sending New Year greetings. 2 pages, 8vo, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet; faint staining at horizontal folds. [Scarborough, ME], 28 December 1906

  • Notes: "I regret to say that I have nothing to send to the Penn Academy. I have not worked any over the past year. I am very well however now.
    "I am here alone only one other man on Prouts Neck.
    "Please give my regards to Mrs. de Camp & Mr. Baker & I wish you all a very happy New Year."
