- Notes: One of Houdini's most famous challenges. Houdini successfully escaped from a tank filled with Knickerbocker Beer - he proved he was a master escape artist and provided the Knickerbocker Beer Co. with great advertising. The feat was performed at Hammerstein's Victoria Theatre in Times Square.
