HOUDINI Harry (Ehrich WEISS 1874-1926). Signed program for a performance by Houdini onboard the Imperator. One page, 4to. At sea, 21 June 1914.
- Notes: Lists the various tricks to be performed by Houdini, including the Bean giant handcuff escape, the East Indian needle trick, and the spiritualistic slate test. This particular Atlantic crossing from Hamburg to New York is legendary. Theodore Roosevelt was a passenger and there are several famous photos of Houdini and Roosevelt posing together. The inscription on this program reads, "Compliments of Harry Houdini."
