Small vintage full-length photographic portrait of a scantily clad Houdini in a jail cell with his arms chained to the cell door, a silver print in 5 1/2x3 3/4 inch format (14.5x9.5 cm); with a manuscript note on the verso in French identifying the prison cell as being the same which held President Garfield's assassin; with inked ownership stamp of author and magician Michel Seldow.
